Sorry but this is reconciliation. To reconcile. This is exactly what is intended to bring together differences in the house and senate bills. This is nothing new and is not some big secret plan to push through a bill. Minor changes will be made perhaps to the bills but the overall intent of the bills would remain intact. Both bills have already passed the house and senate and if the house were to sign the senate bill it would become the law of the land. Everyone will know what is going to happen and when so I see no big plot here. Leaders of congress always discuss out of public view issues and as long as they bring them to the public view before proceeding then there is no plot. Majority rule rules in this country and if these bills become law this way then its fine with me.

Why is every one questioning this? Our new Government, the Powere Elite will take care of you, they will take care of everything, whether you want them to or not. God help us all. Even the fools that brought this to power. But really, this has been going on for 100 years, we’re just on the fast track now. God bless our founding fathers and the tea party movement. I really have to wonder if the people supporting, or even questioning the “Health Care Reform Bill” have bothered to do any research on the matter.

When government starts controlling and capping doctor’s salaries, who will go through 9 years of school to make $80,000 or so a year? Won’t this eventually create a shortage of doctors, as it has in the UK and Canada?

Do people that have significat health issues really want to wait 4 months for an MRI, just to be told they do not meet the criteria for treatment, as they do in many socialistic/commumistic countries (as well as written into this plan)?

When their mother or father falls ill and are no longer able to care for themselves, do they want them put in an institution for the mentally unstable? Possibly for as long as for 3 years, until a bed opens up in a nursing home trained to deal with their needs, as my friend’s father has had to endure in the UK?

Have they bothered to check the financial status of the United States Post Office? Social Security? GM (who now needs ANOTHER bail out)? Myself, I’m really not comfortable putting my personal health care in the hands of the same people
who can’t manage the systems already in place.

Speaking as a person who also has many health issues (13 surgeries and several on going conditions over the past 15 years) and is continually, financially strapped due to medical bills. I KNOW that I need my private health care insurance if I have any hope of ever living a normal life.

DO THE RESEARCH, stand together and don’t let this pass!!

I realize Health Care in this country is TERRIBLE (THAT IS BEING POLITE), however, being an RD, and my spouse a medical professional as well, we witness it every day from both ends, patient and provider. Our system is too complicated for either, controlled by insurance companies and lawyers, not by providers and the needs of the patient.
We need competition in insurance companies (across the state lines), we need tort reform to prevent unnecessary lawsuits, and coverage for PREVENTATIVE services, which would cut COSTS (even though insurance companies DON’T want this, since that is how they get paid! There is a better way, but the Congress needs to form a committee with RELIABLE, HEALTH CARE PROVIDERS to make recommendations; not a selected CHOSEN by politicians!

Even though we do the best we can as citizens and as world helpers in Haiti, and as we feel we “should,” under God, others (esp. Communist rulers) around the globe HATE freedom, and hate the U.S., for standing for it. It’s NOT D’s v. R’s anymore. It’s MUCH bigger!!! Ive had 8 back sureries, 1 sloulder sugery , 3 wrist sugeries & 1/2 of my big toes cut off,plus many other minor problems and I am having a hard time to get pain meds. Who are ther for, I can function 1/2 way decent with enough but am having a very hard time to get any. WHAT AM I SUPOSSED TO DO? I get $756 per month and cannot work
what am I suppesed to do? I don”t drink, smoke do street drugs or buy lotto tickets. I have $3.00 dollars in my bank account after paying bills each month. What am I to do?
