Videos titled, â€œAutistic Adult in Crisis Goes Unnoticedâ€ and â€œShocking Patient Neglect of Autistic Personâ€ on youtube warrant immediate attention to dangers of managed care and general hospital medical mismanagement of severely autistic patients in California. What we witness here is a FAILURE to care, as in from the heart. There is little intrinsic motivation for many nurses, doctors to really HELP their patients, especially complex ones that require complex care management. So do we need healthcare reform? DO we really need to change a system, when the real problem is heart care reform? As in value, dignity and respect for persons with special needs, the elderly, sick, infirmed, disabled, blind lame? WHERE are the miracle workers of today? Where are those that go the extra mile to help patients?

Did that video make you laugh, Michael? Did it really? It made me sick!! The torrent of passionate, white-knuckled ignorance that went into the production of that tired little video is literally heart wrenching.

I donâ€™t intend to be unduly condescending here, Michael; but you, and the millions of lemmings like you, are the reason we have a healthcare system that forces people into bankruptcy. I posted this before, but you clearly need to hear it now.

â€œUsing a conservative definition, 62.1% of all bankruptcies in 2007 were medical; 92% of these medical debtors had medical debts over $5000, or 10% of pretax family income. The rest met criteria for medical bankruptcy because they had lost significant income due to illness or mortgaged a home to pay medical bills. Most medical debtors were well educated, owned homes, and had middle-class occupations. Three quarters had health insurance. Using identical definitions in 2001 and 2007, the share of bankruptcies attributable to medical problems rose by 49.6%. In logistic regression analysis controlling for demographic factors, the odds that a bankruptcy had a medical cause was 2.38-fold higher in 2007 than in 2001.â€

Adolf Hitler’s Dr. Death, Dr. Mengele, must be rolling over in his grave, rejoicing over the events taking place here in the United States now, with Mengele’s henchmen, in particular, one bin Hussein Barak Obama, advocating end-of-life conferences with Senior Citizens. Doctors will be paid by MEDICARE, I understand, for each “briefing” they give. I’ll tell you this much: I’m in the Senior Citizen bracket, and if I am ever approached by my doctor for tihs kind of briefing, I will flatly refuse to sign any government document that attests to my being briefed, and I will qit seeing that doctor! Life in this country formerly was very sacred; now, it has become a cash-cow to have your life ended prematurely, and bellieve me….it WILL end prematurely, if the government has its say. You can take that to the bank and deposit it, as the saying formerly went. Citizens: BEWARE THE ANGEL OF DEATH!
